The IBP Glass Block Grid System involves the use of a proprietary, interlocking, light-weight aluminum frame. Within this frame, glass block are inserted and a sealant is applied.
1. It is important to understand that this product represents a replacement for mortar installation of glass block with many additional benefits.
2. Glass block used with the IBP Glass Block Grid System will parallel the current uses of glass block and many new uses will be created, such as doors, floors, and skylights. The IBP Grid System is the ideal installation method for both residential and commercial construction.
3. Our technical and engineering assistance is available to assist you in developing new ideas and custom applications for the IBP Grid System.

IBP Glass Block Grid System™: 6063-T6 extruded aluminum Glass Block Grid System as manufactured by Innovative Building Products, Inc., 2917 W. 7th Street, Fort Worth, TX, 76107, 817/332-9124. Finish selected from manufacturer's standard color range.
Expansion/Contraction Thermal Foam Tape: Adhesive backed, closed cell foam, 1/16" or 3/32" thick.
Sealant: One-part, mildew resistant, neutral cure, 100% silicone sealant, warranted by manufacturer for 20 years.
Glass block units: 7-3/4" x 7-3/4" x 3-1/8", partially evacuated hollow units, made of clear or colored glass by Solaris (Oberland Glass A.G.) or equivalent.
