Accordion Partitions.
Quick, economical privacy for multi-use space.
Accordions are the fastest, most economical way to divide and organize
space and insulate against distracting noise. They provide instant privacy
for meetings, classes, or office and other work areas.
5-Ply Laminated Covers Mean The Ultimate In Durability And Sound
Control.
Hufcor’s 5-ply laminated covers are built tough to withstand impact
and provide years of day-to-day use. Acoustical models have an inner steel
lining that deadens sound and increases durability. The clean, crisp lines,
keep their shape and don’t sag or bag. Maintenance is easy, too. Simply
wipe surfaces with a damp cloth or use household products to remove soil.
Options Add Versatility.
Create rooms or move your partitions to alternate locations with the
addition of curves, switches, and posts. Accordions can even intersect
with our operable or portable partitions. A variety of options are available
to give you the flexibility needed to reconfigure space quickly and easily.
Accordion Options
A selection of options is available for additional flexibility. Curves
and switches provide alternate room division storage possibilities; posts
may be ordered to accommodate 2-, 3-, and 4-way meeting arrangements or
to connect a series of doors for larger openings. Accessories are available
for pocket storage, too.
Curved tracks are available in type #15, #18, #50 and #71 track.
Stock curves: 3'6" (1.1m) and 5'0" (1.5m). Custom curves to specification.
No structural modifications required.
Curved installations require extra door fullness.
Multiple Meeting Posts are available in 2-, 3- or 4-way meeting
arrangements. Available in either "floating" or "attached" type post.
Intermediate Post for latching one door to another at an intermediate
location. Available one or both sides.
Switching Partitions form one track to another allows any partition
to serve a dual purpose, or allows remote stacking arrangement. (Refer
to Hufcor Architectural Manual for framing details.)
Pivot Switch swings stacked partition at 90°
for storage or alternate positioning.
Crossover Switch permits partitions to pass through intersection.
Glide Switch moves from straight onto curved track; permits partitions
to be used in an alternate track at right angles to the main run, or to
stack parallel along the wall.
