LOX ALL® TRUSS REINFORCEMENT

Specification*

Joint reinforcement for single wythe walls shall be Lox All® Truss-Mesh, as manufactured by HOHMANN & BARNARD, INC. Hauppauge, NY, or approved equal. Reinforcement shall be fabricated from cold-drawn steel wire conforming to ASTM A82, with smooth (state dia.) cross rods butt welded not more than 16" o.c. to deformed (state dia.) side rods. Finish shall conform to (state dia.). Factory prefabricated Corners and Tees shall be used at all corners and intersecting walls and shall be of the same gauge, finish and design as the continuous joint reinforcement.

*This specification can be modified for composite or cavity walls with the inclusion or cavity walls with the inclusion of any of the HOHMANN & BARNARD Lox All® products found on this screen.

H & B recommends Type 304 or Type 316 stainless steel for maximum protection against corrosion.

  • Packed 500 ft. per bundle (50 pcs. – 10 ft. long)
  • Tri-Mesh, Twin-Mesh and Box-Mesh packed 250 ft. per bundle (25 pcs. – 10 ft. long).
  • Corners and Tees packed 25 pcs. per bundle.
Lox All® Truss-Box-Mesh

Box-Mesh is a prefabricated anchoring and reinforcing assembly with 4 in. wide boxes welded 16 in. o.c.

  • #150 is a single-unit veneer system.
  • #155 adds cavity drip to #150.
  • #160 offers vertical adjustability.

Boxes extend only into collar joint and accept a standard rectangular pintle to anchor exterior wythe.

  • #165 is similar to #160 but has a restraint bar welded to each box as shown. For cavity or insulated walls, this prevents in and out movement of the rectangular pintle.
