ANALOG PRODUCTS

Analog Fire Alarm Control Panels

The FireNET Analog Addressable Control Panel is UL 864 9th edition listed. Each panel is equipped with 2 SLC loops, and may be expanded to 4 loops. Each loop supports 127 devices in any combination (sensors or modules). In addition, analog sounder bases may be used with each sensor on the loop, for a maximum capacity of 254 points per loop. A wide variety of sensors and modules are available, including smoke and heat sensors, contact monitor modules, relay modules, supervised output modules and short circuit isolator modules. Up to 64 FireNET panels may be networked together for large system applications. An auto-learn feature offers convenience for quick start applications. Additional features include serial and network annunciators, a digital alarm communicator (DACT), and Loop Explorer Windows programming software, which provides the technician with fingertip access to programming and diagnostic tools.

The latest addition to the FireNET line is the FireNET Plus. FireNET Plus is an analog addressable control panel suitable for small to mid-sized installations. Each panel has 1 SLC loop, and may be expanded to 2 loops. An integrated digital alarm communicator (DACT) option is included, along with 64-panel network capability. Add to this the power and flexibility of our analog sensors and modules and you have a system suitable for any small to mid-size project.

Analog Sensors

All Hochiki America sensors utilize our patented, noise immune Digital Communication Protocol (DCP). Photoelectric, ionization, heat and duct sensors are available which incorporate automatic day/night sensitivity modes and automatic drift compensation.

About Hochiki America Corporation

Hochiki America Corporation was established in Southern California in 1972. At that time we were primarily manufacturing smoke and heat detection equipment for our OEM customers. In the 1980's we expanded our production to include an Ionization smoke detector and a new generation analog protocol, known as HRE protocol. In the 1990's the DCP analog protocol was developed, which is still used today by Hochiki and other manufacturers. Also during the 1990's, our factory was awarded ISO 9000 approval by the LPCB, and production of our new "NS Series" smoke detectors was established. In 1999 we moved to a much larger facility in Buena Park, CA and introduced our Conventional/Expandable fire control panel line.

In the 2000's duct detector manufacturing was brought completely in-house to our new Buena Park facility. In 2003 we introduced our first UL approved analog addressable fire alarm control panel – FireNET. In 2007 we received UL 864 9th edition approval for FireNET. In 2009 we introduced FireNET Plus, for medium and smaller applications.

At Hochiki America Corporation, we take a lot of pride in what we do. Through our sophisticated life safety devices, people's lives and property are protected, helping to make the world a safer place to live.
