Versatile Precast Wall Systems
Experience the freedom of designing with precast.
Architectural—non-structural—cladding systems include horizontal
and vertical panels and cladding add-ons such as columns, covers, and soffits
for weathertight, durable, low-maintenance facades on steel frame or cast-in-place
structures.
Structural wall systems include single or multi-story vertical panels. These
provide an integral structure and enclosure system that can be erected economically
and efficiently.
High Concrete’s precast wall systems can be used with both steel and
cast-in-place structural systems. They work seamlessly with a wide range of
building materials, easily incorporating brick, tile, stone, and glazing systems.
Equally suitable for interior cladding of lobbies and other public areas, our
wall systems can create a variety of visual effects, ranging from the dramatic
to the subtle.
Maximum Schedule Flexibility
High’s state-of-the-art precast structural or non-structural wall systems
deliver
- Rapid installation
- Superior insulation
- Weather-tightness
Architectural Cladding Systems and Accessories
Non-structural architectural cladding systems are available with either conventional
steel or with CarbonCast™ C-GRID™ carbon fiber reinforcement.
Horizontal architectural panels
- Support glazing or infill panel systems; carry no load from floor or roof
slabs
- Are especially economical when exterior columns are set back from building
face
- Provide insulation values of up to R-8 Vertical architectural panels
- Run from foundation to parapet
- Can be single- or multi-story
- Provide insulation values of up to R-24
Column covers
- Can be designed to match appearance of architectural panels or as contrasting
design element
- Are round, rectangular, square, or any shape you can imagine
- Infill panels and custom panels can be manufactured to virtually any design
and specification
Structural Wall Components
Horizontal spandrel panels
- Support double tees in “Total Precast” MEGA-Span structures
Single-story load-bearing wall panels
- Span from foundation to roof
- Support roof structural systems such as bar joists or double tees
- Eliminate the need for separate structural elements, for greater economy
and value without sacrificing design
- Increase usable floor space
- Are easily moved and relocated
- Can distribute lateral forces to
- Reduce the load on individual connections
- Resist wind and seismic forces
Multi-story load-bearing wall panels
- Run from foundation to roof
- Support double tees in “Total Precast” buildings and parking
garages
Architectural Accessories
As an added service, High Concrete can supply standard or custom bollards,
planters, and benches to match or complement the finishes on your precast project.
The High Economic Advantage:
Both single-story and multi-story loadbearing wall panels offer
- Optimal savings in large projects using repetitive components
- Greater value when insulated for special applications, such as warehouses
and factories, cold-storage and food-processing facilities, airplane hangars
and depots, etc.
- Exceptional durability when CarbonCast technology is used
