FIRST RESIDENTIAL FIBERGLASS SPRAY-ON SYSTEM

The ULTRAFIT-DS® wall system is unique in that it combines ULTRAFIT-DS® a specially designed fiberglass insulation, with an inorganic water-activated powdered adhesive, which is sprayed into the wall cavity forming a seamless blanket of insulation in sidewalls. Because the system creates a monolithic seal in all the sidewalls, it significantly reduces costly voids and air gaps.

Nearly 50% of all wall cavities in today's homes contain some type of obstruction; i.e. wiring, pipes, electrical boxes, etc., along with non-standard framing in width and height. Each customized, one-piece batt is created on the job-site for a perfect fit everytime.

INSTALLATION

Only qualified contractors approved by Guardian Fiberglass may install and market the ULTRAFIT-DS® wall system. Any installation of fiberglass insulation using the ULTRAFIT-DS® wall system must be done in accordance to all products label instructions, as set forth by Guardian Fiberglass, Inc. as determined by its testing, to achieve the stated values listed in the coverage charts below.

R-VALUE INFORMATION
Insulation is specified by its thermal resistance or R-value. "R" means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. Savings will vary. Consult the insulation seller's fact sheet on R-values.

DETERMINING THE R-VALUE YOU NEED
The amount of insulation you need depends mainly on climate, type of heating (gas, oil, electricity) you use, and the area of the house you plan to insulate.

The U.S. Department of Energy has established minimum recommended insulation R-values for eight distinct parts of the country, or insulation zones. To determine your insulation zone, locate your city or town on the map. If you live on the border between two zones, choose the higher rather than the lower values.*

ULTRA FIT DS® system does not contain any chemicals or additives that are conducive to corrosion of pipes or wires.
- NONFLAMMABLE AND NONCOMBUSTIBLE
The ULTRA FIT DS® system using ULTRA FIT DS® fiberglass insulation meets Federal Specification HHI-1030B testing criteria for smoldering combustion and ASTM E136 for noncombustion.
- PEST RESISTANT
The ULTRA FIT DS® system is manufactured with pure glass fibers and water-activated powdered adhesive made from inorganic materials which will not attract insects or pests.
