SHAFTWALL INSULATION

DESCRIPTION
Shaftwall Insulation is an unfaced, semi-rigid fiberglass batt designed to maintain its dimensional stability. Batts are easily field fabricated to fit around wires, junction boxes and other obstructions. This product is designed for a "friction-fit" into cavities, thereby eliminating the need for adhesives or fasteners.

APPLICATION
Unfaced Shaftwall Insulation is designed for use in the cavity of a metal stud and gypsum board shaftwall partition system. In this application, Shaftwall Insulation reduces the amount of airborne sound transmitted through the wall to the adjoining space.
