DensArmor Plus® Impact-Resistant Interior Panel is a patented, non-paper-faced gypsum panel that is ideal for use in interior areas likely to be exposed to incidental moisture where added abuse, abrasion and impact resistance is desired. The product is ideal for high traffic, high occupancy areas subject to wall or ceiling abuse such as schools, dormitories, offices, hospitals and many public buildings.
The panel consists of a dense, noncombustible, moisture-resistant gypsum core, a strong layer of embedded fiberglass mesh, and an abuse-resistant, coated fiberglass-mat surface. In addition, when tested in accordance with ASTM C 1629, the panel offers superior soft-body and hard-body impact resistance.
