The WI and GPI Series Wood I Beam™ joists are today’s wide flange choice
featuring a FiberStrong® OSB web fitted into high-grade solid sawn
lumber or LVL flanges. The wider flange offered by the 40, 60 and 80 series
joists provides broader gluing and nailing surfaces for floor and roof
sheathing saving valuable time—and money. Wide flange joists offer longer
spans and greater load carrying capacity, with beams that are lighter and
easier to handle than ordinary lumber. The additional mass of the wide
flange products helps reduce vibration, creating a firmer feeling floor.
And all residential wide flange series joists from Georgia-Pacific meet
PRI™-400, the I-joist standard from APA®-The Engineered Wood Association.
