Stainless steel is available in all styles for toilet partitions, showers
and dressing compartments. General Partitions’ exclusive use of type 304
stainless steel polished to a No. 4 Finish offers the ultimate in partitions.
The Finish is protected in the manufacturing process and in shipping by a P.V.C.
film which is removed at the job site. Any scratches can be removed and the
original beauty restored by buffing. Also available with a Deep Textured surface
or a Baked Enamel finish. Textured stainless steel partitions are fabricated
from #304 deep textured leather grain finish and offers the following advantages:
- vandal resistant
- resists fingerprints and smudges
- scratch resistant
- reduces maintenance costs
- guaranteed 10 years
These advantages make leather grain, textured partitions an excellent choice
for highway rest stops, airports, schools or other high traffic areas. In addition
to the leather look, we can supply other textures and designs such as stripes,
basket weave, honey comb and stucco.
The standard panel with Ribcore sound deadening reinforcement is offered as
a standard at no extra charge. Sheet metal skins are bonded under pressure to
each cell of the core with an adhesive impervious to moisture. Lighter weight,
greater strength and permanently flat panels are provided through this type
of construction.
Corner reinforcements are used on all steel partitions at exposed corners,
mechanically fused to the edges. This feature doubles the strength of the corner
and allows field repairs if and when required. It also eliminates welding and
grinding of the corners which removes the protective zinc coating as well as
part of the metal edge.
Stainless steel toilet partitions are available with concealed latch operating
handles, which do not require any twisting or turning of the wrist. A gentle
nudge is required to open or close the door.
