Florestone is a family-owned company
with over a half century of history in the fiberglass shower/tub/bath and
molded receptor industry. Founded in 1947 by Ray and Ann Flores, the Florestone
philosophy to “stand behind our product and take care of our customers”
has been the formula for tremendous growth. Florestone was one of the first
to manufacture terrazzo shower receptors and mop sinks in the late 1950s.
Gel coated fiberglass products were added in the mid 1970s. And Florestone
has been an industry leader in developing products which meet the requirements
of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California Title 24.
Today, the Florestone manufacturing
plant is located on 15 acres in Central California, and operated by the
second generation of the Flores family.
