PatriotGreen™ utilizes an innovative process, patent pending, that provides a uniform initial appearance. It is coil-coated architectural grade copper that is pattened to give the appearance of pre-patinated copper. PatriotGreen™ is safe to work with and will not harm tooling. It is coated in a controlled manner with a Fluropan® coating system, allowing only partial coverage of the surface. The uncoated surface area of copper is exposed and allowed to react naturally to the environment and will change colors and age as it would normally. The coated area will continue to provide the bluish green color of pre-patinated copper until the bare copper surface ages to that level of maturity. The coating will subtly weather away in the later years allowing the entire surface to age naturally to the patinated color. The product delivers superior performance for brake forming and roll forming, being available in sheet or coil.
Base metal is AGSC (architectural grade sheet copper) with an ASTM-B370 (with exception) designation. PatriotGreen™ is offered to the architectural community by Revere Copper through its distribution network.
- PatriotGreen™ has been designed to provide master coils, slit coils and cut sheets.
- PatriotGreen™ can be supplied for continuous on-site or factory roll formed panels.
- There are several factory-formed roof panel systems that meet UL-90, ASTM, and Dade County wind uplift requirements.
- PatriotGreen™ may be used in a vertical wall application as well as angled-degree roofing applications.
- Interior and exterior wall applications are suitable.
- Interior applications will not age rapidly when not exposed to an outside atmosphere.
- PatriotGreen™ is suitable wherever standard sheet copper is used.
A patented process in color and appearance that allows for true patination to occur on copper available in sheet or coil for continuous roll-forming.
