Wireless Communication Antenna Concealment

As restrictions on wireless towers continues to increase, the need to find creative site solutions becomes more important. Fiberglass architectural enclosures provide aesthetically pleasing solutions with minimal RF signal degradation.

Fiberglass Specialties was among the first companies to make use of church steeples and other architectural elements to disguise RF antennae. With over 35 years experience in architectural fiberglass, FSI has the expertise to help solve your site problems.

Suitable products include:

  • Steeples
  • Cupolas
  • Domes
  • Bell Towers
  • Crosses
  • Decorative panels

Suitable applications include:

  • Churches
  • Banks
  • Shopping Centers
  • Schools and Universities
  • Hotels
  • Virtually any commercial building

MATERIALS
A variety of composite materials are used to create structures that provide minimal RF signal degradation. In general, components are fabricated by permanently bonding an internal steel structure to an outer shell of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester). The result is a rigid, durable structure that requires virtually no maintenance. The finish is an integral part of the FRP laminate; unlike paint, the surface will not peel off. This eliminates the cost of repainting associated with other materials.

ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION
Obviously, assembly and installation will vary widely depending on the nature of the custom design. In general, however, Fiberglass Specialties' products are designed for easy, simple installation. Components are shipped in complete, self-contained sections, which pre-assembled at the factory, taken down for shipment, then simply bolted together on site by the contractor. A crane and some special rigging may be required.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Fiberglass Specialties' expert sales team and design team is available to assist you. By utilizing the latest technology, including AutoCad, e-mail, and a functional web site, they save you time and money during the design and specification phase.
