BAPTISTRIES
MANUFACTURER
Since 1963, Fiberglass Specialties has produced high quality baptistries
at economical prices. Now the leader in the industry, they offer cutting
edge designs, a full range of accessories, and custom capability in
addition to their standard line.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION
Fiberglass Specialties' Series 2000 baptistry line is the first and only
complete line of baptistries designed to meet national model building
codes regarding step tread and risers. All baptistry steps have 7"
risers and 11" treads. Steps feature a "raised disk"
pattern for slip resistance and ease of cleaning.
The entire line can be accessed in the CAD section of the Sweets CD, as
well as Fiberglass Specialties' own website and printed literature. The
standard line uses existing molds to assure economical pricing, while
still offering a wide variety of styles and sizes. A complete line of
accessories, including heating / circulation systems, filters, and water
control systems is available.
In addition to this extensive standard line, Fiberglass Specialties'
custom design team offers you maximum creative flexibility. More
information is available in the "Custom" profile on the Sweets
CD.
MATERIALS
Fiberglass Specialties baptistries are molded from FRP (Fiberglass
Reinforced Polyester) with a gelcoat finish in a variety of standard
colors. Integral reinforcements are used to provide necessary stiffness
and strength.
For those churches who plan to leave the baptistry filled with water for
extended periods, Fiberglass Specialties offers AquaGard, a special
process that provides an extra level of protection against blistering and
finish damage.
ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION
Complete installation information is available upon request from
Fiberglass Specialties. Most baptistries are designed to be installed by
the contractor. Accessory items, such as heating and water control
systems, should be installed on site by professional plumbers and
electricians.
