PRODUCT PRESENTATION
Englert Series 2800 2-1/2" high seam is an 18" wide structural
roofing system featuring an anticapillary hem with fixed stiffening rib
and takes a 90° seam. The panels are secured by floating clips,
allowing for unrestricted thermal movement and are secured by an electric
seamer. All fasteners are concealed.
As an integrated roofing system, the 2800 may be installed over purlins
(see span table) over solid deck. Minimum slope is 1/4"/12" on
panel lengths up to 75'; 1/2"/12" for panel lengths over 75' to
100' up to 100'; and 1"/12" on panel lengths over 100' up to
150'. Check with the manufacturer for specific applications.
Series 2800, 2-1/2" high seam 22 gauge panel meets the structural
requirements of UL for Class 90 wind uplift resistance at 5' o.c. over 16
gauge purlins. Check with manufacturer for specific details on UL-90
rating.
SPECIFICATIONS
A. Panel system shall be the Englert Series 2800, 2-1/2" x 18"
wide, High Seam Structural Roof Panel, available with ribs and
mechanically seamed style. Mechanically seamed at 90. The panels shall
have baked on finish as specified in Section 2.05 hereunder, in
manufacturer’s standard colors. The manufacturer shall offer at least
a minimum of 23 standard colors to choose from.
B. Substrate
- 24 gauge baked on finish over Galvalume ASTM A-792-83, AZ55, 40 KSI
yield point, 52 KSI tensile strength.
- *22 gauge baked on finish over Galvalume per ASTM A-792-83, AZ55, 40
KSI yield point, 52 KSI tensile strength.
- *.032" or .040" aluminum alloy 3105-H14 approved equal.
NOTE TO SPECIFIER: *22 gauge steel, and .032" and
.040" aluminum are available subject to minimum order requirements.

C. Performance
1. *Panel shall meet the requirements of Underwriters
Laboratories, Inc. for Class 90 wind uplift resistance.
2. Panel shall display a flame spread classification of a Class 1 when
tested in accordance with ASTM E-84-87.
NOTE TO SPECIFIER: Series 2800, 2-1/2" x 18"
Panels 22 gauge Galvalume meet the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. 580
classification for 90 lb. per square foot uplift test when installed over
purlins at 5'0" o.c. with special clips.
