Architectural Wood Doors

Eggers' true stile and rail doors set the standard for design and craftsmanship. We produce pre-machined and pre-finished custom profiles with 20- to 90-minute ratings. Acoustical ratings are available through STC 40. Full-lites, true-divided lites and grillwork options are also available.

Our 5-ply wood flush doors set the standard for this versatile category of architectural doors. They're available in fire ratings through 90-minute and come in a variety of species, from domestics to rare exotics. Specialty applications include lead-lined, acoustical, impact-resistant and bullet-resistant and combinations of the aforementioned specialty features.

Eggers' Stylus doors bring together the superior functionality of 5-ply flush doors and the elegance of stile and rail doors. A cost-effective alternative to stile and rail doors, they're fire-rated through 90-minute and available in a large range of profiles to match existing doors. Stylus doors are available with STC ratings 31, 32 and 33, depending on core type.

Custom fabrication from a wide selection of hardwood face veneers meets the most exacting standards desired by architects and interior designers. From preformed radius or curved plywood panels to specialty ceiling tiles, with flame spread ratings and acoustic capabilities, our plywood department has the capability and capacity to meet and exceed the needs of your next project.

MANUFACTURING OPTIONS

With our combination of hand craftsmanship and technology, Eggers is well-equipped to meet any project requirement. As the only door manufacturer to offer in-house veneer lay up, ensures superior quality control, shortens lead times, and provides us with greater opportunities to produce unique custom designs.

Our facilities can premachine, cut-to-size, edge band, and prefinish architectural doors and plywood paneling in one piece construction up to 72" wide by 192" long on a variety of core types. We are also able to manufacture curved plywood panels and custom component shapes. Our attention to detail is also apparent in our finishing; we are the only door manufacturer that seals the tops and bottoms of all of our doors in order to provide additional protection for our customers.

Eggers maintains AWI-QCP and FSC certifications for projects requiring custom or premium grade AWS standards or LEED® point contributions.

ACCREDITATIONS / ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES

Eggers Industries manufactures flush and stile and rail doors, architectural plywood paneling, custom conference tabletops and veneered components that meet or exceed the highest WDMA, AWS and WI standards. We are also an AWI QCP certified company.

We offer certified wood products to include architectural flush and stile and rail doors, as well as plywood paneling and veneers that are certified by the SmartWood program - an independent certification program of the Rainforest Alliance, accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®).

Eggers' wide range of finish options is anchored by a UV-cured finish, an environmentally friendly system that meets WDMA and AWS standards for curable finishes. The UV-cured finishing system consists of water-based stains and 100 percent solid clear coats that are free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).
