Eliosolar Hybrid Architectural ShadesCommercial Products Eliosolar offers four categories of Hybrid Shade Structures: Sun Shades, Facade Sun Shields, Canopies and Screens. While they shield your building from the sun, Eliosolar Hybrid Shades collect its free energy to produce hot water.
SUN SHADES Sun Shades are external shading structures, generally mounted horizontally, used to control light, prevent glare and limit heat gain, lowering indoor temperature. Blade spacing and profile may be varied to produce a wide array of light levels and shading. Sun shades are either cantilevered or suspended.
FACADE SUN SHIELDS Facade Sun Shields offer the same benefits as sunshades, including solar thermal collector, but are mounted vertically. Blade spacing and profile may also vary to bring light and shading to desired levels. When mounted over windows, additional benefits over regular Sun Shades are added privacy and security, as well as increased protection from extreme weather. Facade Sun Shields come either with vertical or horizontal blade design.
CANOPIES Canopies are usually free standing structures or can be mounted horizontally on top or against side of a building. They are used mostly to provide shades and create or improve outdoor living space, or public space. The hot water produced by hybrid canopies can be used for domestic hot water or often for other applications such as pools. Canopies can be trellis, car ports or walkway shelters.
SCREENS Screens are mounted vertically and are used either for safety or decorative purposes. Decorative: Often on roof tops to hide mechanical equipment. Safety: Guardrails and fences. As for canopies, hybrid fences can be used for other applications such as pools. They increase privacy and can add style or blend in with the style of your building and surroundings.
