DKS 1150 series overhead gate operator system is designed for commercial and industrial applications. These operators feature a high reliability, low headroom, low maintenance design and offer advanced features. All DKS overhead gate operators are designed to meet or exceed the requirements in the U.L. 325 Safety Standard.
The microprocessor based control board (engineered and manufactured by DoorKing in Inglewood, CA.) provides innovative and outstanding features typically not found in operators in this class. Our unique Gate Tracker™ reporting function sends important gate operator data to a companion DKS 1830 Series access control system and "plug-in" vehicular loop detectors greatly simplify wiring and installation requirements.
The 1150 is designed for commercial and industrial applications with high traffic counts. Maximum gate height is 14 feet. Primary reduction is provided by a worm gear reduction system running in a continuous oil bath. Direct driven limit nuts provide precise gate control and are easily adjusted. The operator includes shock mounts to reduce noise and vibration in underground parking environments. The 1150 uses a 1/2 HP motor and operates on 115 VAC power only. Four rail assemblies are available and are chosen depending on the height of the gate.
