The DKS Access Plus series of telephone entry and access control systems provide visitor voice communication via the telephone network to residents / tenants in a single family home, small apartment complexes and gated communities, or in small mixed use facilities, college resident halls and business applications. Once the visitor is identified, access can be granted by pressing a programmed number on the telephone handset.
In addition to visitor access control, these systems provide access control for registered users (residents, tenants, etc.) via card readers, keypads and/or RF access devices. The systems will store up to 100 unique card, keypad or RF transmitter access codes. The systems can control two doors or gates and are easily expanded to control up to 6 additional doors or gates (or any combination thereof) via RS-485 communication protocol.
The Access Plus systems are programmed with the DKS Access Plus Account Manager software (included with the system). This user friendly Windows compatible software program allows system administrators to program access codes, temporary access codes, holiday schedule, hold-open time zones and more. The system provides live control of the access point allowing the administrator to lock or unlock doors and gates with the click of a mouse button and it can also send email notification of user selected events.

The 1808 AP is best suited for small applications where space is limited. The built-in paper directory will hold 12 names maximum and is printed directly from the Access Plus Account Manager software.
