Access Control
Model 1818 Multi-Door Card Access
Controller: DoorKing's PC Programmable Multi-Door access controller provides
control of two entry doors (or gates) and with Tracker expansion boards
can control up to 16 individual entry locations. Tracker boards will also
provide door ajar and forced entry alarms, and will interface with DoorKing
vehicular gate operators to provide gate operator data to the access system.
Elevator control can be provided by the addition of an elevator control
panel that will allow the system to control up to four elevators, with
each elevator serving up to 64 floors. The system is programmed from a
personal computer (IBM or 100% compatible), either remotely via modem or
directly with via RS 232 cable. Special features include hold open time
zones for automatic door or gate activation, 31 security levels to provide
complete access control for all entry points controlled by the system and
an 8000 event history buffer to store transactions. The 1818 includes a
built in 2400 baud Hayes compatible modem and the DoorKing Remote Account
Manager software.
The 1818 has the following capabilities:
Maximum number of card or transmitter codes (or a combination of the two)
that can be programmed into the system is 8000. Maximum number of system
users is 3000, maximum four-digit entry code storage capacity is 3000.
RF Access Control: DoorKing's
high security radio receivers, along with DoorKing MicroPLUS transmitters
offer users the convenience of a radio control system, but with the security
and full features of a programmable card reader system. The DoorKing radio
access control system allows user to simply press their small hand held
transmitter to access a gate or door. This is especially useful when used
with a vehicular gate operator system where the driver simply presses the
button on the transmitter from the safety and security of their locked
vehicle to access the gate. No longer is there a need to stop the car and
roll down the window to insert a card into a card reader, a great feature
in high crime areas or during inclement weather. Each DoorKing MicroPLUS
transmitter is pre-programmed and labeled at the factory to one in over
268 million (268,000,000) codes, making duplication of a transmitter code
extremely unlikely. Our unique changing Sync-Code feature causes the transmitter
code to change each time that it is used. This encrypted code feature makes
copied transmitter codes useless and insures the highest degree of security
possible. Transmitters are available in 1, 2 or 3 button versions. The
DoorKing high security RF system is available in stand alone models, or
can be interfaced with the DoorKing1803PC, 1815 or 1817 telephone entry
systems, or the 1818 multi-door access controller.
8054 RF Receiver: The
8054 stand-alone receiver is designed for use in applications where only
a single output is required. The 8054 includes a built-in time clock for
easy programming of time zones, stores up to 2300 transactions and can
be connected to a serial printer for transaction reporting. The 8054 is
typically used in gate operator applications, industrial doors and garage
doors. This small and compact receiver features a keypad built into its
housing for programming purposes, and can store a maximum of 1,250 unique
DoorKing MicroPLUS transmitters codes. The 8054 does not have any wiegand
output capability.
8056 RF Receiver: The 8056
receiver is designed primarily for applications where the receiver will
interface with an external controller, such as a DoorKing1803PC, 1815 or
1817 telephone entry system, or the 1818 multi-door access controller.
In this manner, the receiver does not store any transmitter codes in its
internal memory. It simply converts the received RF transmission into a
26, 30 or 31 bit wiegand format, and then sends this data to the controller
where the decision to grant or deny access is made.
MicroPLUS Transmitters: DoorKings
MicroPLUS transmitters are small, lightweight devices that are designed
to be placed on a key ring. These transmitters are available in 1, 2, or
3 button versions, allowing for simple remote activation of up to three
devices. Typical use for the multi-button transmitters would be to control
access to separate entry points, operate an entry and an exit gate, or
operate a gate and one or two garage doors. These transmitters measure
only 2 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide, and 1/2 inch in depth and weigh
less
than an ounce.
