9000 Series Slide Gate Operators
All DoorKing 9000 series slide gate
operator systems use the microprocessor based 4402, 4602 or 4702 solid
state board that controls all functions of the gate operator system. The
9050, 9070, 9100 and 9150 operators are designed with a single cog-belt
drive and clutch system for primary reduction and automatically set both
the open and close limit settings. The models 9200 and 9300 use a gear
reducer running in a continuous oil bath for primary reduction and use
traditional manually adjustable switches to set both the open and close
limit settings. All have a built in timer for automatic closing and are
designed with an inherent reversing system so that the operator will reverse
travel should an obstruction be encountered during the opening or closing
cycle. The inherent reversing system is independent of any optional "add-on"
devices that may be connected to the system. The 9000 series slide gate
operators include advanced features such as our unique Gate Tracker reporting
system that sends important gate operator data to a companion DoorKing
access control system, the ability to open the gate partially to 14 feet,
and a special anti-tailgating loop function that helps to curtail vehicles
from gaining unauthorized entry by "tailgating" behind a vehicle that the
gate was opened for. (Note: Gate Tracker, partial open and anti-tailgating
features do not apply to models 9050 and 9070). The patented fail-safe
release system on the 9050, 9070, 9100, 9150 and 9300 models, allows the
gate to be manually pushed open during power outages without the need of
any special keys or cranks, but will lock the gate should an attempt be
made to push it open during normal operation. The model 9200 includes an
internal hand crank for manual operation. All models have ports for two
DoorKing model 9405 or 9406 plug-in loop detectors. This greatly simplifies
detector installation and wiring. The control board has several input terminals
for the addition of optional control devices, such as radio controls, card
readers, key switches, etc.
Models:
9050: Model 9050 is designed
for light-duty residential applications. Maximum gate weight should not
exceed 300 lbs and maximum gate length should not exceed 16 feet. The operator
will move the gate at a rate of approximately one foot per second. The
gate operator is pad mounted and the gate is driven with #41 roller chain.
The unit is housed in an attractive cabinet that measures 22 1/2 inches
high, 12 inches wide, and 11 1/2 inches deep. This unit uses a 1/3 HP intermittent
duty motor, is rated for a maximum of 10 cycles per hour (open/close),
and is available in 115-volt single-phase power only.
9070: Model 9070 is designed
for light-duty residential and commercial applications. Maximum gate weight
should not exceed 500 lbs and maximum gate length should not exceed 22
feet. The operator will move the gate at a rate of approximately one foot
per second. The gate operator is pad mounted and the gate is driven with
either #41 roller chain. The unit is housed in an attractive cabinet that
measures 22 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 11 1/2 inches deep. This
unit uses a 1/2 HP continuous duty motor, is rated for a maximum of 30
cycles per hour (open/close), and is available in 115-volt single-phase
power only.
9100: Model 9100 is designed
for medium to heavy-duty commercial applications. Maximum gate weight should
not exceed 1000 lbs and maximum gate length should not exceed 30 feet.
The operator will move the gate at a rate of approximately one foot per
second. The gate operator is pad mounted and the gate is driven with either
#41 or #40 roller chain. The unit is housed in an attractive cabinet that
measures 22 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 11 1/2 inches deep. This
unit uses a 1/2 HP continuous duty motor, is rated for a maximum of 30
cycles per hour (open/close), and is available in 115-volt single-phase
power only.
9150: Model
9150 is designed for medium to heavy-duty commercial applications and is
available with a 1/2 or 1 HP motor. Maximum gate weight should not exceed
1000 lbs for the 1/2 HP unit or 1500 lbs for the 1 HP unit, and maximum
gate length should not exceed 45 feet. The operator will move the gate
at a rate of approximately one foot per second. The gate operator is pad
mounted and the gate is driven with #40 roller chain. The unit is housed
in an attractive cabinet that measures 22 1/2 inches high, 15 inches wide,
and 16 1/2 inches deep. The 9150 is rated for a maximum of 30 cycles per
hour (open/close), and is available in 115-230-460 volt power. The model
9150 can be equipped with an optional DC drive battery back-up system that
will cause the gate to open automatically in the event of a power outage.
This system is not designed to maintain uninterrupted gate system operation.
9200: Model 9200 is designed
for medium to heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications. Maximum
gate weight should not exceed 3000 lbs and maximum gate length should not
exceed 100 feet. The operator will move the gate at a rate of approximately
one foot per second. The gate operator is pad mounted and the gate is driven
with #60 roller chain. The unit is housed in an attractive cabinet that
measures
34 1/2 inches high, 16 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. This unit uses
a 1 HP continuous duty motor, is rated for a maximum of 30 cycles per hour
(open/close), and is available in 115-230-460 volt power.
