6000 Series Swing Gate Operators
All DoorKing 6000 series swing gate operator systems use the microprocessor based 4502 solid-state board that controls all functions of the gate operator system and provides our unique Gate Tracker™ reporting function that sends important gate operator data to a companion DoorKing access control system. The control board and operator system is designed so that relays or limit switches are not required. These operators automatically set both the open and close limit settings, have a built in timer for automatic closing, and are designed with an inherent reversing system so that the operator will reverse travel should an obstruction be encountered during the opening or closing cycle. The inherent reverse system is independent of any optional "add-on" devices that may be connected to the system. If an attempt is made to force the gate open, a tamper detect circuit will start the motor and return the gate to the closed position. The 4502 control board has ports for two DoorKing model 9405 or 9406 plug-in loop detectors. This greatly simplifies loop detector installation and wiring. All 6000 series operators are designed to work either as a single unit, or in pairs as a master-slave system, allowing for the operation of bi-parting gates. The control board has inputs for option control devices such as radio controls, card readers, key switches, etc.

These operators are designed to be post or pad mounted (specify which). The unique design of the 6000 series extends the operating arm from the bottom of the operator which allows for an aesthetically pleasing design and the ability to attach the gate arm to the bottom rail of the gate making it practically invisible from the outside of the gate. The two-piece harmonic action gate arm assembly allows the gate to start slowly, accelerate through its travel and then slow down before coming to a complete stop. This allows for smooth gate operation.

Models:
6050: Model 6050 is designed for lightweight residential gates only. Maximum gate weight should not exceed 300 lbs and maximum gate length should not exceed 10 feet. The operator will swing the gate 90° in approximately 8 to 10 seconds. This unit uses a 1/3 HP intermittent duty motor, is rated for a maximum of 10 cycles per hour (open/close), and is available in 115-volt single-phase power only.

6100: Model 6100 is designed for medium to heavy-duty commercial applications. Maximum gate weight should not exceed 500 lbs and maximum gate length should not exceed 14 feet. The operator will swing the gate 90° in approximately 8 to 10 seconds. This unit uses a 1/2 HP continuous duty motor, is rated for a maximum of 60 cycles per hour (open/close), and is available in 115-volt single-phase power only. The model 6100 can be equipped with an optional DC drive battery back-up system that will cause the gate to open automatically in the event of a power outage. This system is not designed to maintain uninterrupted gate system operation.

6300: Model 6300 is designed for heavy-duty commercial applications and is available with a 1/2 or 1 HP continuous duty motor. Maximum gate weight should not exceed 600 lbs for the 1/2 HP unit, or 800 lbs for the 1 HP unit, and maximum gate length should not exceed 22 feet. The operator will swing the gate 90° in approximately 12 to 14 seconds. This unit is rated for a maximum of 60 cycles per hour (open/close), and is available in 115-230-460 volt power (specify). The model 6300 can be equipped with an optional DC drive battery back-up system that will cause the gate to open automatically in the event of a power outage. This system is not designed to maintain uninterrupted gate system operation.
