The DORMA CD 80 is the ultimate in low profile, innovative design swing door operators, with a sleek, award-winning design. Because it operates so quietly, the CD 80 is ideal for noise-sensitive locations such as offices and healthcare facilities. This swing door operator can be used in both new and existing applications. DORMA Automatics has tested the CD 80 under severe climate conditions to ensure consistent performance. DORMA’s rigorous testing subjected the CD 80 unit’s durable operation to over 500,000 cycles and to temperatures down to –40ºF. The CD 80 operator’s low profile allows you to mount it to standard door systems. Its mounting plate drastically minimizes installation time—first you attach the mounting plate to the top jamb, then you simply latch the operator onto the mounting plate. The unit’s low weight (approx-imately 20 lbs including the mounting plate) allows you to fit the CD 80 directly onto the top jamb without causing excessive hinge strain. Power Assist and an extended hold open function come standard. The extended hold open function allows the door to remain open at an adjustable angle for up to 10 minutes. This function is particularly well suited for use during loading and unloading operations or for ventilation purposes.
