Sanigrid is an all-fiberglass ceiling grid system known for its moisture and
corrosion resistance in high humidity and chemical environment installations.
It will not rust, pit, dent, or peel like metal grid systems. Sanigrid II is
now easier to install, so it’s an even smarter choice for areas where
sanitation is important. The new Sanigrid II system uses a series of pre-notched
main tees and cross members to lock the grid together, eliminating the use
of the time-consuming junction clips used with the original Sanigrid. The entire
system snaps together quickly which reduces the high installation cost previously
associated with frp grids. For the ultimate corrosion resistant ceiling grid
system, use Sanigrid with Glasbord frp ceiling panels. These panels are engineered
for lay-in ceiling applications to prevent sagging. Glasbord panels are the
only frp panels with the exclusive Surfaseal finish.

1" x 1" (25.4 mm x 25.4 mm) wall angles come cut in standard 12'
(3.7 m) lengths to fasten directly to the wall.
Main runners come in 12' 1½" (3.7 m) lengths. Notches for cross
tee attachments and hanger wires are 6-1/16" (154 mm) on center.
Cross tees are available in 48½" (1232 mm) lengths, pre-notched
to snap into the main runners, 24-1/8" (613 mm) lengths notched to nest
with the 48½" (1232 mm) tees, and 24½" (622 mm) lengths
to mate with the main runners.
Wall anchors are available to secure the main runner and cross tees to the
wall angle. Also available is industrial double-faced tape (part #T-30) that
can be used in lieu of screws to attach the wall anchor.
The Main tee splice is used to securely join two main runners.
Two different hold down clips are offered to firmly secure the lay-in ceiling
panels. Hold down clip C-24 is used for ceiling panels 3/32" (2.4 mm)
to 9/32" (7.1 mm) thick. Hold down clip C-25 is for use with panels
9/32" (7.1 mm) to 1/2" (12.7mm) thick. Hold down clips are intended
only to hold ceiling panels in position. They will not prevent panel warping
under severe environmental conditions.
Not included with other materials-must be purchased separately.
Sanigrid II has not been tested for compliance with seismic ceiling grid requirements.
