PRODUCT NAME:
EnviroGuard™ HDP
Sanitary Wall & Ceiling Panels

OVERVIEW:
EnviroGuard™ HDP is a composite panel for interior use made by laminating a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) skin to a substrate of high density polypropylene. EnviroGuard™ HDP is attached to the substrate using construction adhesive in the field of the panel and mechanical fasteners around the perimeter. The system is completed with one piece or two piece plastic (PVC) trim moldings.

BASIC USES & APPLICATIONS:
EnviroGuard™ panels are designed to provide an easily maintained surface for interior wall and ceiling applications. Durable fiberglass reinforced plastic or high density polyethlene skins make these panels ideal for use in kitchens, restrooms, locker rooms, food processing plants, animal shelters, temporary educational facilities as well as any other application where a washable, low maintenance surface is desired.

GENERAL LIMITATIONS:
EnviroGuard™ panels are intended for interior use as wall or ceiling panels only. Panels may not be installed as a structural element of a wall assembly. Other limitations to the installation of EnviroGuard™ HDP panels depends on the specific application.

SYSTEM FINISHES:
EnviroGuard™ HDP panels are offered in either fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) skins. Both options are available in textured or smooth finishes and as well as a variety of thicknesses. Standard color for all panels is white. However, other colors are available if desired. Minimums may apply. Standard color for PVC moldings is also white.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

CONCEALED FASTENERS:
EnviroGuard™ HDP offers a variety of attachment systems depending on the appearance desired (including one piece and two piece moldings). Typically, panels are fastened to the substrate using mechanical fasteners around the perimeter of the panel. Construction adhesive is used at the intermediates and in the field of the panel. The joints are finished with PVC moldings that are either snapped or tapped in place, adhered to the face of the panel, or fastened to the panel using small brads (depending on the type of molding selected).

FEATURES & BENEFITS:
As a complete interior cladding system, EnviroGuard™ HDP offers a number of benefits to the building owner, architect, and installer including:
  • Water Resistant
    With an innovative high density polypropylene core, EnviroGuard™ HDP is virtually unaffected by water, making it ideal for areas where walls are exposed to a large amount of moisture (i.e. kitchens, etc.).
  • Economical
    Combining the substrate and the finish into one panel system saves time, as well as labor and material costs for installing contractors. Along with initial budget savings, the easily cleaned surface also saves in long term maintenance costs for facility managers.
  • Non-Progressive
    Several different options for face applied and one-part moldings allow for easy removal and replacement of panels should damage occur.
  • Easy Installation
    Simple sheets/trim concept easy to understand. Standard carpentry knowledge and tooling is all that is required for installation.
  • Low Maintenance
    Little or no maintenance is required and most grease, dirt, oil, and other foreign material can be easily cleaned from the surface using mild detergents.

EnviroGuard™ HDP is supplied with

PANEL FINISH SYSTEMS:
Available in textured or smooth fiberglass reinforced fiberglass (FRP) or textured or smooth high density polyethylene (HDPE). 
 
STANDARD WARRANTY:
EnviroGuard™ HDP panels are warranted for a period of one (1) year.
 
CODE CERTIFICATION: 
All colors are USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) approvable for incidental food contact. White (standard) panels are approvable for direct food contact.
