CertainTeed's FlintCoat™, FlintPrime™, FlintBond™ and FlintPatch™ line of roof coatings, adhesives, primers and caulk are premium, high performance products engineered to maximize the life expectancy of the roof system. Included are a choice of three highly reflective Energy Star labeled roof coatings, SBS modified roof membrane adhesive, VOC compliant water based primer and versatile wet/dry repair products.

Applications

FlintCoat roof coatings and primers are applied by brush, roller or spray. FlintBond SBS modified bitumen roof membrane adhesive is available in brush, trowel or caulk grades. The products are used in a variety of roof system applications and for roof restoration/repair.

Features

FLINTBOND™

Cold applied, high strength SBS polymer modified asphalt adhesive that provides excellent adhesion and elongation properties. Used to adhere SBS and selected BUR roof membranes.

FLINTCOAT™-A 150

FlintCoat-A 150 Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating is made of selected asphalts and pigment flakes of pure aluminum, blended with mineral fibers and refined solvents for heavy duty performance capability.

FLINTCOAT™-A 300

FlintCoat-A 300 is a premium fibered aluminum roof coating made of selected asphalts and pigment flakes of pure aluminum, blended with mineral fibers and refined solvents for heavy duty performance capability.

FLINTCOAT™-A NF

FlintCoat-A NF Non-Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating is a formulation of selected asphalts, refined solvents and fine aluminum flakes.

FLINTCOAT™-A PLUS

FlintCoat-A Plus is a single component, SBS rubber modified asphalt, and is specially formulated with aluminum pigment to be used as a reflective elastomeric coating with modified bitumen membranes, B.U.R., and primed metal surfaces.

FLINTCOAT™-E

FlintCoat-E Emulsion Roof Coating is manufactured with refined asphalt, bentonite clay, emulsifiers and fibers for brush or spray application on smooth surface and metal roofs. It is used wherever cold emulsion is specified and as a base coat under aluminum and acrylic top coatings.

FLINTCOAT™-W

FlintCoat-W is a white, copolymer elastomeric emulsion exterior protective coating. FlintCoat-W provides excellent protection, appearance, mildew resistance, color stability, weatherability and flexibility.

FLINTPATCH™

FlintPatch Flashing Cement is an asbestos-free flashing cement, compounded with a carefully formulated blend of rubber-reinforced asphalt, mineral fibers, and refined solvents.

FLINTPRIME™ SA

FlintPrime SA is a water-based polymer modified primer for use with self-adhering modified bitumen roofing membrane systems such as Flintlastic SA.

FLINTPRIME™

FlintPrime Asphalt Primer is a general purpose, penetration asphalt primer used for the preparation of all types of surfaces prior to the application of hot or cold asphalt coatings.
