Wall Base Condition (Base Channel)
A Base Channel can be furnished as an option at walls where panels
extend to the floor. This member is attached to the concrete slab
with power driven fasteners, which are not supplied by Ceco. The
Base Channel is prime painted (red oxide color).
For this base condition, Ceco’s standards require a panel notch in the
concrete foundation to support wall panels and to close off open ribs in
their base. If used without a panel notch, additional base flashing
must be specified to close off bottom end of wall panels.
