Roof Panel-Standing Seam-CXP
CXP Roof Panels are roll formed from 50,000 psi yield steel in 24 gauge.
Panel coverage is 24 inches with edge corrugation being 2 inches high (2
7/8 including the standing leg). All major ribs shall taper in from
1 inch at top to 4 ½ inches at base. Horizontal striations
occur six inches on center in flat of panels.
CXP Roof Panels are attached to secondary framing by concealed clips
which are locked into the seamed ribs during the seaming process on the
jobsite. Factory-applied sealant is provided at each seamed joint
to assure weathertightness. Fasteners are installed through the panel
only at eaves, ridge, and end laps.
CXP Roof Panels shall be Acrylic Coated Galvalume (Also referred to
as Galvalume Plus and Acrylume). 22 gauge may be Galvalume. Refer
to color charts for availability. Panel carries a UL90 wind uplift
rating with 6 inch maximum thickness blanket insulation.
CXP has achieved UL90 Listing, has passed the American Society of Testing
and Materials (ASTM) E1592 test and has been approved by Factory Mutual
as a Class 1 panel roof.
