C. R. Laurence Company (CRL) has developed the Wedge-Lock Dry-Glazed Door Rail System, a totally new concept for the easiest fabrication and fastest installation of glass doors for commercial entrances.

Features
Available in five stock finishes, standard rail heights are 4-, 6-, and 10-in., and all models are available with or without a lock. The solid aluminum rail will not shift and fall out of adjustment over time. The rail provides full support for bonded cladding, resulting in a perfectly smooth appearance and trouble-free service life.

Benefits
Dry-glazed rails can be installed without messy adhesives. Internal components do not require removal before installation. The door assembly can be ready to install in less than ten minutes. The adjustable door alignment system allows jamb line adjustment without removing the door.

Performance Capabilities
Tempered bolts draw the taped clamp jaws downward against the internal wedge design of the rail body, resulting in very high gripping pressure along the entire edge of the glass. In a Pull-to-Failure Test at an ambient temperature of 73º, 6,900-lb. of tension was required before any creep, (not failure), was detected.

Installations
Wedge-Lock Door Rails are installed in the new Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, Harrah’s Hotel in Atlantic City, and the Pentagon.
