CENTRIA offers wall panel systems which solve many special design challenges; The CENTRIA Explosion Release Wall System is designed to fail at predictable
loads in either tension or shear.
The System has been used successfully to enclose explosive-potential buildings
such as those housing flammable liquids and gases, pressure vessels containing
explosive materials, and nuclear and fossil fuel power plants.
These systems provide an economical solution for meeting noise reduction requirements
and building code regulations in industrial areas.
A Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC Rating) of 0.80 to 1.00 can be achieved
in accordance with ASTM C423, using a standard exterior profile with a perforated

A Sound Transmission Class (STC) of 35 to 53 can be achieved in accordance
with ASTM E90 and E413 procedures. Consult CENTRIA.
CENTRIA can configure many of our wall and roof panel systems to meet firewall
system requirements. Illustration at right shows a one-hour firewall. Two-hour,
three-hour, and four-hour Firewalls are also available.
Firewall Systems include:
- 24 to 18 gage, G90 galvanized steel in either smooth or stucco-embossed surfaces
- 1-3/8" to 3" Interior Panels
- Exterior panels in all standard CENTRIA profiled and foam panels
- Concealed fastening where design permits, exposed fastening elsewhere
- 1-1/2" minimum glass fiber insulation
To accommodate requirements for radio frequency shielding, CENTRIA offers two
separate designs (one welded, one gasketed) that provide tested RF shielding for
Formawall® Dimension Series® or a field-assembled system with a flush liner.

- Sheet lengths of 8'-0", 10'-0", or 12'-0"
- Panel width 42-11/32"
