APC’s explosion vent technology utilizes a specially designed high tensile, high impact, lightweight dome. The dome assembly releases in 12-18 milliseconds at a predetermined outward pressure through the use of FM® approved blow-out fasteners. A restraint cable keeps the dome attached to the curb. The XRV Vent complies with all building codes. The XRV is high impact and tensile strength dome assures intact release.
