The On-Site™ portable, self-contained eye wash unit is ideal anywhere water supply is not available. The eye wash flushes eyes for 15 minutes at a minimum of 0.4 gallons/minute by using only 7 gallons of water. The transparent tank assembly lets you see at a glance when it's time to clean or refill the tank. The sturdy pedestal with hinged eye wash tray pulls down in one quick motion. The removable tank is inverted onto pedestal, piercing a liner. When arm is pulled down, water flow is activated. The refillable eye wash tank fills to 7 gallons. The tank weighs 60 lbs filled and 2 lbs empty. The transparent tank is made of polycarbonate, and colored bright yellow for high visibility in emergency situations. The pedestal, which supports the eye wash tank, weighs 6 lbs and is made of bright yellow polypropylene with a black polypropylene pull-down arm. The wall bracket is stainless steel. One 8-oz. bottle of water preservative mixes with 7 gallons of potable water and prevents bacteria, fungi, and algae growth in tank for up to six months.
