LavCare 750 Patient Care Unit
Our combination lavatory/concealed water closet modules were designed based on extensive research with health care professionals. So they offer more functional features to enhance staff productivity and patient safety. These modules conceal a patient toilet inside a decorative cabinet and lavatory counter. At bedside, they are a more hygienic superior replacement to bedpans or commodes, and offer a cost-effective alternative to separate bathrooms. And, as a convenient water source and testing area, they also give your staff an efficient patient care station. There are several modules to choose from to meet the needs of a variety of hospital, clinic and nursing home applications. These include: critical and telemetry care, rehab, gastrointestinal, proctology, X-ray, oncology labs, privacy rooms, semi-dependent care environments and more.

Cabinet
Frame is stainless steel and requires floor anchoring. Cabinet exterior is 3/4" Classic Core™ plywood with laminate finish in Formica #925 Champagne. Interior finishes are laminate and satin finish stainless steel. Doors have rounded corners for greater patient safety and will support a 250 lb. static load via full length stainless steel piano hinges welded directly to frame. Toilet tissue holder is conveniently located inside the cabinet door. Side mounted bedpan washer with drain is concealed behind a separate cabinet door.

Countertop
Standard finish for plywood/laminate countertop is Formica #220 Beige Clear Sand. Other countertop selections include other laminates, stainless steel or Terreon®. Terreon® is a NAHB Certified densified solid surface material composed of polyester resin. Terreon® is resistant to chemicals, stains, burns and impact. Surface damage can easily be repaired with everyday cleansers or fine grit abrasives.

Lavatory
Lavatory is 14 gauge stainless steel with factory-installed caulking. Measures 14-1/2"x 9-1/2"x 5" deep. Furnished with 10" rigid gooseneck, deck-mounted hot and cold faucet with 4" wristblade handles. Traps and stops complying with local codes to be furnished by plumbing contractor.

Toilet
Toilet and support assembly are constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel. Siphon jet type toilet has an elongated bowl, integral flushing rim, remote-actuated hydraulic flushing system with push button, and a white seat with self-sustaining hinge. Toilet pivots into room and locks in position when cabinet door is open. 25PSI minimum is required for flushing. Trap has a 3-1/2" seal that will pass a 2-1/8" diameter ball and is fully enclosed. Toilet is anchored to floor and will support a 2,500 lb. static load. A 1.6 gallon per flush (low flow) toilet is standard.

Sample Specification
Module patient care unit in decorator cabinet shall be Bradley Model LC750. Unit shall be free standing with type 304 stainless steel frame, a 3/4" Classic Core™ plywood and laminate cabinet exterior/countertop, and the following standard equipment:

• cabinet finish in Formica #925 Champagne
• doors with rounded corners
• toilet tissue holder
• siphon jet type toilet with elongated bowl, integral flushing rim, and white hinged seat
• countertop finish in Formica #220 Beige Clear Sand
• lavatory with self-rim and factory-installed caulking
