Loading dock equipment is designed to help make a company's dock area more efficient, safer or both. Important dock-area safety equipment includes truck restraints, wheel chocks and trailer jack stands, all of which work to prevent potentially serious injuries. Dock door seals and dock-area fans help to reduce dock-area utility costs. Dock bumpers significantly reduce accident-caused damage to docks as well as to trucks.
Loading dock levelers adjust for height differences between a truck platform and the loading dock bed. Hydraulic dock levelers also operated very efficiently as loading ramps in instances when a truck bed cannot be brought flush with a dock.

Description: An edge of dock leveler compensates for uneven heights between dock and truck. A manual edge of dock leveler is commonly used in distribution centers. Edge of dock levelers are durable and heavy-duty. The BBL series edge of dock leveler with bar lift requires 28 to 34 lbs of push pull force to engage.

Construction: A 2½" distribution bar, three gussets and operates with an adjustable torsion spring.

Beacon Model BM3 Mechanical Dock Levelers
Description:Mechanical dock levelers and loading dock ramps compensate for height disparities between loading docks and truck beds and are pull chain manually activated. The BM3 series comes standard with a 16" hinged lip and dock bumpers.

Beacon BH5 series
Description: This hydraulic dock leveler with automatic return to dock feature compensates for uneven heights between the truck bed and the loading dock. The hydraulic dock leveler automatically returns to the loading dock with auto recycle.
Capacities: service capacities of 25,000, 30,000, 35,000 or 40,000 lbs. Special capacities are available upon request.
Construction:Heavy-duty welded structural steel
Size: 6', 6.5' or 7' deck widths. with 6', 8' or 10' nominal lengths. Special hydraulic dock leveler sizes are available.
