Description: Beacon loading dock door seal for overhead doors are used for trucks or trailers during loading or unloading. These seals keep out cold, wind, dust and fumes. The dock door seal for overhead doors features wrap-around style material to protect wood and foam from outside elements.
Construction: The dock door seal is constructed from solid wood and solid foam.
Usage: It is the customer’s responsibility to verify correctness of fit for applications. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that this unit complies with all safety laws, codes and regulations.
Projection: The 10" projection dock door seal is to be used with a 4" to 5" dock bumper projection. The 20" projection dock door seal is to be used with an Edge of Dock Leveler inclusive with a 14" to 15" dock bumper projection. Special projections available.
Size: These units are designed to fit a door opening of 8' wide x 8' high.
Standard: The dock door seals come standard with beveled side pads.
Options: The dock door seals are available with a steel mesh armor to assist in theft protection, beveled head pads and built-in foam back to create a tight seal.
Installation: The loading dock door seals include all required mounting brackets.
Materials: The dock door seals for overhead doors are available in vinyl-coated nylon, Hypalon-coated nylon, Neoprene-coated nylon.

Description: Beacon loading dock door seal with auto head curtain features wrap-around-style material to protect the wood and foam from the outside elements. The overhead dock door seal features safety yellow guide strips and breather slots on the side and head pads. The auto head curtain protects the area above 8' high that is not covered by the trailer.

Description: Beacon loading dock door seals assist in keeping out damage-causing weather elements as well as bugs. These loading dock door seals feature wrap-around style material to protect the wood and foam, breather slots and condensation holes.

Dock Door Shelter

Description: The Dock Door Shelter is designed for use on dock doors up to 10' x 10'. Dock Door Shelter assists in energy saving by sealing out the outside elements. The truck dock door shelter is designed for the truck to back into the shelter not against it. The side and top curtains act in a wiping action against the side and top of the trailer, providing a complete seal. When the trailer is in place at the dock, access is accomplished at the rear of the trailer to facilitate loading and unloading procedures.
Construction: Heavy duty structural framework supports the top and side curtains. Structural frame work is treated wood. Optional steel structural frame work is available. Top hood is wood and sides are fiberglass construction. Roof slopes are at a 7-1/2 degree angle.

Projection: The dock door shelter is available in 18", 24", 30" or 36" projection. Recommended projection is 12" beyond bumper, leveler or point at which truck can proceed no further. Less than 12" truck trailer projection entry is not functional.
Options: Material options include (1) 40 oz. neoprene coated nylon - Black, (2) 40 oz. hypalon coated nylon - Black (3) 40 oz. polyurethane coated nylon - Black. (4) 22 oz vinyl coated nylon. Another option is Guardian Pleat on the wear point of head curtain.
Installation: Installation by others. Mounting hardware for standard mounting applications is supplied with each unit. Hardware is cadmium plated.
Materials: Standard material for the truck dock door shelter is 40 oz. vinyl coated nylon. Standard color is Black however optional colors are Green, Tan, Brown or Blue.

Models: The BD series are available as (a) 4-sided units which offer maximum protection on all 4 sides where no platform exists (b) 3-sided units for use where platform exists. (c ) Rolling rail shelter which give 3-sided protection where the platform extends.
Description: Dock Door Rail Shelters feature a wood or steel frame covered with vinyl coated nylon. Dock Door Rail Shelters designed to protect airways between rail docks, door and freight car opening against environment. The unit provides year round weather protection for material handling operations. Dock Door Rail Shelters designed for platform or non platform docks.
Construction: Wood construction include frame arms and track 2" x 6" and 2" x 8" wolmanized wood. Arms are galvanized pipe. Track 5/8" box channel. The Steel construction include hot dipped frame, arms and track. Continuous slot hot dipped galvanized 14 gauge steel.
Operation: When the unit is not in use the dock door rail shelter is retraced snugly to the face of the building by easy to operate balanced puley and rope assembly to allow for rail car passage.
Projection: Dock door rail shelters have a standard projection of 4' - 6".
Color: Standard 22 oz vinyl coated nylon colors are Green, Black, Tan, Blue, Light Grey, White, Yellow, Red or Brown. The optionl 16 oz. hypalon and neoprene is green or black. Please specify when ordering.
Materials: The dock door rail shelter available in our standard 22 oz. vinyl coated nylon. Optional material include 16 oz hypalon or neoprene.

Bug Door Screen

Description: Beacon bug door screen is designed for use at facilities such as loading docks and garages. Bug door screen helps keep out insects and birds and reduce dust and wind, improving employee comfort. Bug screen door lets in fresh air and light.
Construction: Bug door screen is made of vinyl-coated polyester.
Operation: The Bug Door Screens are available in two different operation models. Either you can open by sliding from left to right from the center or you can raise vertically in a roll up format design.

Description: Beacon dock door metal hoods are designed to provide overhead protection at the loading dock door area. These overhead shelters shield the dock door area from rain and snow. Custom-made sizes are available; contact Beacon for details.
