FS / BCSF – Flex Seal Expansion Joint System The FS Seal System is a cost effective flexible cellular seal for horizontal and vertical applications. Its flexible cross section accommodates multi-directional movements and variations in joint widths through compression and tension cycles of the shape.
When the seal is bonded in place with a structural epoxy adhesive, the system prevents the passage of water through the expansion joint opening.
Applications include parking decks, concrete and metal column conditions, ramps and other engineering structures. The product is ideal for vertical applications, where the gap width typically varies. The seal is extruded from closed-cell neoprene expanded rubber and has sidewall ribs to promote bonding through an expanded surface area.
