ES – Elastic Seal Expansion Joint System The system is designed specifically for use on parking structure and vehicular ramp applications, where normal as well as vertical movements are a design parameter.
The ES-Series seal family is designed for applications to meet ADA guidelines and provide a smooth and stable walking surface for pedestrians.
This seal functions under compressed mode. The center web stiffener provides constant pressure on the adhesive while it is curing and gaining strength.
The ES Elastic Seal System includes an elastomeric seal profile and a high-strength, two-part epoxy adhesive. The profile, when inserted into a joint in a concrete deck, will seal the opening from the intrusion of water and debris.
- No Blockout Required – The seal fits between the joint interfaces with no blockout required
- Ease of Installation – Unlike other systems requiring blockout remediation, a typical 60 LF run of this system can be installed in several hours. This minimizes shut-down time for owners of parking garage structures
- Compression/Tension Movements – Though the seal is designed to function in a compressed mode, the seal will function in the tension cycle
