Operable wall system offering high sound attenuation and providing facility for rapidly and easily subdividing larger areas. Modules, 106mm thick overall, are hung on multibearing roller trolleys running in heavy duty track suspended from the structural soffit and are individually locked in position against head track and floor by a jacking system. Vertical joints are secured by alternating male/female aluminum profiles located at either edge and are fitted with dual magnetic strips. ‘Parking’ arrangements can be varied to suit site conditions and the layout of the walls and individual modules can be constructed to incorporate pass doors if required. Panel finishes include vinyl, veneers, melamine, or laminate.
