MeltonStone™ Cast Stone Columns
Melton Classics continues a tradition of enduring beauty and durability with the MeltonStone™ cast stone columns and pilasters. Economical cast stone columns provide significant advantages over natural stone, poured concrete or precast concrete columns, including more consistent porosity, color, and aging characteristics. Column covers are dry-tamp manufactured to meet or exceed Cast Stone Institute standards.
MeltonStone™ columns can be manufactured in stacked sections with quirks in order to maximize their authentic appearance. Small columns are available in one piece shafts. Shafts are also available in halves and sections for column cover or column wrap applications.
Matching Components
Melton Classics can provide a wide range of products to match MeltonStone™ columns or column covers. FRP Classic™ fiberglass cornices and MarbleTex™ synthetic stone balustrades can be used where weight is a concern. FiberCrete™ GFRC Cornices and Architectural Elements can also be used in order to match the color and appearance of MeltonStone™ columns.
