DuraClassic™ Poly/Marble Composite Balustrades
All DuraClassic columns are designed in accordance with the Classical Orders of Architecture. They are manufactured from the finest materials, in keeping with the high standards of Melton Classics. DuraClassic Fiberglass Composite Columns are load bearing, but can be ordered split for easy jobsite assembly around an existing column. Column Selection
DuraClassic Fiberglass Composite Columns are available in round or square column designs with a choice of straight or tapered shafts. Options include fluted columns, paneled columns, or smooth shaft columns. There are 12 classic capital choices, from a Tuscan design to the ornamental Roman Corinthian design. Capitals and bases are available in our impact resistant PolyMarble composite material.
Easy Installation
DuraClassic columns are designed for simple installation as a column cover, column wrap, or load bearing column. A complete installation kit is available, including all hardware necessary for installation. Split column reassembly kits are also available, for installation of split columns, column wraps, or column covers. Lifetime Warranty
DuraClassic capital, base, and shaft for each column is rotocast from PolyMarble Composite. The material is impact resistant and is fiberglass reinforced for maximum durability and load bearing capacity. The columns are fire rated and exceed stringent ASTM E84-01 fire rating and smoke requirements. They are also impervious to insects and rot, and maintain their beautiful appearance in all types of climates, traffic areas, and heavy wear environments.
