LEED Requirements

LEED Requirement Information

Please click the TABLE button for a chart showing products supplied by Ampco that are LEED compliant.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has produced the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System. The LEED Rating System takes into consideration practices relevant to the natural environment, such as the preference for using sustainable resources, conservation of nonsustainable resources, and reduction of pollution.

The USGBC has established a system for quantifying the measures taken toward building a greener building and then rewarding participants by recognizing their efforts as measured by the LEED system.

Ampco supports the efforts of conservation and green buildings and would like to provide the specifiers, designers, builders and owners with relevant information about our products.

The LEED Rating System Version 2.1 sections that are applicable to our product contributions are under Materials & Resources, Recycled Content (Credit 4) and Local/Regional Materials (Credit 5).

Please visit www.usgbc.org for more information.
