Dimensional requirements including height and strand spacing can be easily modified during the design process to assure that your building meets code. Vertical pickets, wire mesh or multiple strands with matching wall rail will surely compliment your building design. All our railings come pre-welded for ease of installation. For added durability, minimum 11 ga. tubing is used for our standard FadeAwayPost™. When it comes to building stairs and railings, the task of meeting NFPA101 (Life Safety Code) and ADA requirements can be confusing and difficult. As if these aren't enough, you probably face an array of state and local building codes, too. American Stair offers several special guard and grab bar railing options such as the 42" high designs shown here. These will meet or exceed current code and regulatory requirements. We are not limited to fabricating only our standard railings and can build most custom designs. If you choose to design an entirely custom look such as STAINLESS STEEL or an ORNAMENTAL railing, we will fabricate these from your prepared plans and specifications as long as the material is steel.
