American Locker's proprietary locking system offers 16 million non-duplicative key combinations. Separately, American Locker offers keyless mechanical lock and electronic systems. With numerous lock options and total manufacturing control of lock cylinders, choose from coin collect, coin refund, proprietary electronic, key, keyless, token, hasp, two key locks or a custodian model with key control.
Additionally, American Locker's Worldwide Service Center responds to installation and product questions by phone, email, fax or web before and after-the-sale.
American Locker currently dominates a sizable portion of the locker specialty field and is viewed as the industry standard for secure storage. Formed from a merger of regional locker companies pre-1931, American Locker's systems range from classic coin-operated lockers and employee and personal lockers to keyless mechanical and computer/electronic-controlled distribution systems.
American Locker has been able to concentrate on providing quality products at competitive prices for indoor and outdoor settings, and is the only producer of lockers that manufactures and controls its own distribution of proprietary keys, locks and cylinders at its state-of-the-art Worldwide Service Center and Lock Shop in Ellicottville, NY and provides in-depth consultative services before, during and after the initial sale.
Backed by a dedicated team of sales personnel nationwide, American Locker provides expert consultation regarding selection, operation and all details related to the specific security and storage needs of a given facility. Major customers include recreational, fitness, university, government and corporate facilities as well as a number of emerging markets.
American Locker constructs three locker frames and bodies into one strong, fitted section at the factory. This assembly process assures you fast, easy installation on-site as lockers are typically installed in factory assembled group up to three-wide. Additional single or double-wide modules are furnished as required to finish the row. Each component part is accurately formed, fitted and assembled with the latest in technology to provide the highest degree of quality and security possible.
Each locker shelf is secured to the locker sides and backs at multiple points. The frame and door assembly is mated to the locker body with stainless steel monel rivets to provide a robust and rigid unit.
Locker sections, three frames wide containing 3 to 18 lockers, are quickly installed against existing walls or in back-to-back islands.
Complete details for securing locker sections together and attaching them to a base and/or wall are provided in our detailed drawings. (Please refer to the drawings on the screen titled "Construction & Illustration" within this electronic program).
A base is essential and the American locker’s 4" high steel base fabricated from stainless steel, aluminum or powder coated cold-rolled steel is effective in keeping cleaning chemicals out of the locks and lockers. As an alternative, a 4 inch high poured concrete base (by others) with a wood sleeper (See detail on the screen titled "Construction & Illustration" within this electronic program) is recommended.
Security lockers are frequently installed in recessed areas. American Locker provides a full assortment of trim and filler accessory panels for securing the locker to the base or wall. A poured concrete base, if provided by others, must be four to six inches high, smooth and level.
LIMITED WARRANTY All American Products with the exception of the Electronic Compu-Lok, E-CBU, Hi Tech Checkout System and Rifle Racks.
American Locker Security Systems, Inc. warrants that all locker products and component parts, thereof, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year form date of shipment.
This warranty shall be in effect for the noted period, exclusive of normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, vandalism, acts of God or use/acts not involving the products’ intended function. Replacement or repair shall be at the sole discretion of American Locker Security Systems, Inc., and shall include freight to original F.O.B point only. Installation or removal is not included.
