Hydrodrain®

Hydrodrain drainage mats provide channels for the unrestricted flow of water away from concrete, insulation, and structural surfaces in both horizontal and vertical applications.

Quick to drain. Provides an avenue between membrane and topping materials in horizontal applications, so the moisture is channeled to subsurface drains.

Decrease Freeze/Thaw Damage. Minimizes the presence of standing water during temperature cycles. Ideal for split slab construction and paver assemblies.

Reduces Hydrostatic Pressure. Channels water away from structures in below-grade vertical applications.

Composition and Materials

Hydrodrain® composite panels are available in seven different core/filter fabric configurations. Non-woven, needle punched filter fabrics are bonded to one or both sides of the core. The core is available in two configurations: a polymeric, dimple core for exceptionally high-flow rates and an extruded polyethylene, geonet core for superior compressive strength. In all seven Hydrodrain models, the filter fabric prevents soil, concrete, and grout from blocking the core’s flow channels. A woven fabric is also available with the dimple core.

Applications

Hydrodrain® is ideal for many applications including plaza decks, planters, retaining walls, foundation walls, and roof assemblies.
