Alumina Railing Products manufactures aluminum railing systems for commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Our railing is the most stylish, durable and easiest to install system on the market today.

Those who choose a stylish appearance without the expensive manufacturing costs of painted metal or wood, choose Alumina Railing Products for their design solutions. Our railing system is excellent for motels, hotels, homes, condominiums, apartments, swimming pools and commercial buildings.

We offer a Traditional Style rail with fluted top cap and thin pickets and a Contemporary Style rail with a larger top cap and heavier pickets.

Superior Construction Features
The Alumina Railing System provides a secure, maintenance free and aesthetically pleasant appearance through our own classic design. Alumina’s fabricated railing system conceals all fasteners of the railing construction providing the appealing seamless design. And the fluted posts and cap provide our classic look.

The Alumina Railing System has a polyester baked on powder coat finish, that retains the “new appearance” for years compared to enamel finishes that deteriorate over time.

Custom Fabrication
Our railing is custom fabricated in our plant to fit your design and specified project needs. We offer a variety of top cap, picket and post styles in your choice of selected standard and special order colors.

Alumina can custom build your aluminum railing from heights of 10” to 60” and pool railings up to 72”. We deliver to your project site anywhere in the United States.

PRODUCT IN PLACE

The rail posts may be surface mounted on almost any structurally suitable material using a post-boot bracket.

Our rail posts may also be installed recessed into concrete using non-shrink grout tapered away from post.

ASSEMBLY and INSTALLATION
Assembly of the railing system will be based upon the approved-signed drawing specifications or plans. The general contractor may make the field measurements and inspection prior to fabrication of the railing system.
An Alumina Railing representative may be available for field measurement and inspection if requested prior to fabrication.
The general contractor typically manages the installation of the railing system.

COMPONENTS and PARTS
Our typical system includes all required hardware and brackets to adapt our rail to any installation situation:
    • Horizontal Wall Bracket
    • Vertical Wall Bracket
    • Channel Wall Bracket
    • Post Boot for 1 ¾” Post
    • 2 ½” x 1” or 2” x 3” Top Cap
    • 5/8” Square or 5/8” x 1 ½”  Picket
    • 1” x 1 ½” Channel
    • 1 ¾” Post

We offer various types of picket, top cap and post styles. All fasteners used are stainless steel.

MATERIALS and FINISHES
We use high-strength aluminum extrusions to fabricate our rail systems. Rail Caps, Channels, and pickets are 6063-T5 material. Posts are 6063-T6 material. The horizontal wall bracket, vertical wall bracket, channel wall bracket and post boot are precision die-cast aluminum.

Standard Colors
Bronze, Tan, White and Black.
Durable polyurethane conversion powder-coated finish.
 
Custom Colors
Virtually any color available for special order. Allow more time for delivery on special order materials.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Our railing system withstands concentrated horizontal or vertical loads of 200 pounds. Please refer to the TABLE portion of this Profile for the tabulated load test results. A full copy of the report is available upon request.

CODES and CERTIFICATIONS
The Alumina Railing System complies with national OSHA, ADA and BOCA safety standards.

Warranty
A. The entire railing system has a limited lifetime warranty. The finish on all products manufactured by Alumina Railing Products, Inc. is unconditionally guaranteed for one year against cracking, peeling, chipping or crazing.
B. Should the product be improperly installed Alumina Railing will not be responsible for guaranteed performance or appearance of the material. This guarantee does not apply where failure or damage is due to improper use or application, abuse, misuse, or acts of God.

ENVIRONMENTAL DATA
The Alumina Railing System can be disassembled and reused. For disposal of railing system, ship railing to Alumina Railing or dispose with your local aluminum recycling company.

AVAILABILITY and COST
Cost estimates based on dimensioned plans and sketches are available.

OPERATION and MAINTENANCE
Clean railing system as required with soap and water. Use a nonabrasive, nonacid solution and applicator to remove markings. Most railing components can be replaced if damaged.
