Product Presentation
Linear Ceiling System is available for interior or exterior use.
Sizes and Profiles:
Panel widths may be 3-3/8, 7-3/ 8 or 11-3/8. Panel lengths may be
from 4' - 45'. Panels may have a rounded edge (LCR) or a box style (LCB).
They may be installed with or without a recessed filler strip or a flush
filler strip.
Composition and Materials:
Panels are roll-formed from .032 (Kynar finish), .025 or .020 (Siliconized
Polyester Finish) Aluminum.
Color and Finish:
In the .032 aluminum, there is a choice of 30 colors in a Kynar 500®
or Hylar 5000® based finish. (Request color chart or chips.) In the
.019 aluminum, the polyester finish is available in 6 standard colors.
In the .024 aluminum, the polyester finish is available in white only in
LCR 338 or LCR 738. A mirror bright finish is available on LCR 338 in .024

Availability and Cost
The Linear Ceiling System is readily available through ATAS product
distributors. Perimeter trims and moldings in matching or coordinating
colors are also available.
Cost:
Contact ATAS product distributors for cost.
Installation
A suspended ceiling carrier is prepunched and roll-formed from .040
aluminum. The standard length of the carrier is 12. The carrier is suspended
by wire or strips, or attached directly to the substructure, and the panel
is snapped on the carrier, with or without filler strips. Because of the
4 increments on the carrier, the different size panels are interchangeable.
1/8 space should be allowed between panels for thermal movement. For acoustical
efficiency, fiberglass insulation may be placed across the top of the panels
between the carriers. Installation manuals or hands-on training through
seminars are available. Contact ATAS technical service advisors for information.
Maintenance
Linear Ceiling systems are virtually maintenance free. The high quality
finish will not fade, chalk, crack or peel, and since the substrate is
metal, it will not warp, rot or break. Surface residue may be easily removed
by conventional cleaning methods. Minor scratches may be touched up with
a matching paint, available from the manufacturer
