Product Presentation

GRANUTILE is a simulated flat tile panel with a unique granular surface. The panel is roll-formed from Metallic Coated Steel which is primed and coated with colored stone granules then sealed with a clear polymer glaze.

GRANUTILE is a structural panel and, compared to other tile materials, lightweight. These two benefits correlate into direct material and labor cost savings. The structural integrity of GRANUTILE allows it to be installed over open framing. Due to its lightweight, GRANUTILE can often be installed on purlins over an existing roof, eliminating the need for tear-off and disposal. Accordingly, GRANUTILE is suited for both re-roofing and new construction.

The granular coating system withstands the most severe climate conditions. Overlapping panel design provides a weathertight barrier. The panel can also withstand high winds, torrential rains, hail and heavy snow loads. GRANUTILE panels are made of materials which do not burn nor support combustion and are practically maintenance free.

Stone plus steel construction has stood the test of time. GRANUTILE is attractive, durable and can enhance any home.

Sizes and Profiles:

GRANUTILE panels are 46” wide by 16” high. Actual exposure is 43-3/4” by 14-1/2”. The configuration is flat tile panels in a 6.57” repeat pattern. There are 7 modules per standard panel.

Composition and Materials:

Panels are roll-formed from 26 ga. Metallic Coated Steel.

Color and Finish:

The finish on the GRANUTILE panel is composed of layers of primer, styrene acrylic resin, colored crushed stone chips and an acrylic top layer. Ten standard colors are available: Mahogany, Charcoal, Granite, Forest Green, Midnight Blue, Mission Red, Terra Cotta, Timberwood, Weathered Wood, and Slate.
