Product Presentation
Field-Lok Seam is a panel with a TripleLok design that is interlocked
in the field by the use of mechanical seamers. The panel incorporates
a double beam, double hook, sidelap design. This resists the sidelaps
from unfurling and unzipping and beam failure between supports. The
extra high locked seam/beam adds structural integrity to the roof system.
Sizes and Profiles:
Two panel widths are available: 13-3/4 (FLS137) and 18 (FLS180). Both
have stiffening ribs. The leg is 2-1/2 high. Panel lengths are cut to
customer specifications, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum to transportation
limitations.
Composition and Materials:
Panels are roll-formed from .032-.040 aluminum, 22 and 24 gauge metallic coated steel, and 22 and 24 gauge AZ55 55% Al-Zn Alloy Coated Steel with Acrylic.
Color and Finish:
A choice of 27 colors is available in a Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000®
based finish. (Request color chart or chips). An anodized finish is available
in clear or dark bronze.
Texture may be smooth or stucco embossed.

Availability and Cost
Field-Lok Seam is available through ATAS product distributors. A complete
line of accessories in matching or coordinating colors is available to
complete a project. Coil stock or flat sheet can be provided for field
fabrication of custom flashings.
Cost:
Contact ATAS product distributors for cost.
Installation
Field seaming equipment is necessary to install this panel. The Seaming
Tool may be rented from ATAS at a weekly or monthly rate. Depending on
installation, a fixed or expansion clip can be used. Optional factory sealant
is also available. Minimum recommended slope is 1/2" in 12". Installation
manuals or hands-on training through seminars are available. Contact ATAS
technical service advisors for information.
Maintenance
Field-Lok Seam is virtually maintenance free. The high quality finish
will not fade, chalk, crack or peel, and since the substrate is metal,
the panel will not warp, rot or break. Surface residue may be easily removed
by conventional cleaning methods. Minor scratches may be touched up with
a matching paint, available from the manufacturer.
