Product Presentation

ATAS International, Inc. is an industry leader in the production of panels for use as mansards and equipment screens on many of the nation’s commercial properties. Use of identical panels or colors on national chain stores promotes instant recognition. Both mansards and equipment screens can be used to conceal unsightly air-conditioning units, air filtering systems or other mechanical installations on the roof.

A screen may be set directly around the equipment when it is set further back on the roof. Where many units are scattered over the roof, a screen may be installed across the full length of the building. Screens or mansards may be used to extend the building’s height and improve the appearance of the structure. A mansard may create an overhang to give protection from the weather to customers or display areas.

Most ATAS panels may be used for these purposes. Specifically, Metafor, Arc-Metafor, Multi-Purpose, Opaline, Belvedere panels and ScanRoof have all been used as equipment screens. Individual panel specifications should be evaluated for each situation. Thirty colors are available in the Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® based finishes. ATAS can also provide lightweight framing systems for the construction of equipment screens.
