Product Presentation
The Design System consists of a 12 wide panel in two distinct profiles.
Panels may be used for wall applications, soffits, fascia or equipment
screens.
Sizes and Profiles:
The Design System is a 12 wide panel in two distinct profiles, with
codes DSF120 or DWH120. The DS panels are 1-3/4 high; the DW panels are
1-1/8 high. The F code indicates a flat or flush panel and the H code
indicates a board panel. The board panels have an upside of 6 which
may be extended in 1 increments (subject to minimum orders). For every
1 change on the board the lower part of the panel is decreased to give
net 12 coverage (with a maximum board width of 10). All panels have
the same lock configuration and may be specified with or without stiffening
ribs. The DS panel is used primarily where increased structural integrity
of the panel is required. Panels of .032 aluminum can be lanced for ventilation.
Panel lengths are cut to customer specifications;
the minimum length is 2 (DSF and DWF) and 8 minimum (DSH and DWH) and
the maximum is 40.
Composition and Materials:
Panels are roll-formed from .032, .040 or .050 Aluminum or 24 gauge
Metallic Coated Steel. 22 gauge Metallic Coated Steel may be specified for
DS panels, subject to minimum quantities and lead time.
Color and Finish:
A choice of 30 colors is available in a Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000®
based finish. (Request color chart or chips.) An anodized finish is available
in clear or dark bronze.
Texture may be smooth or stucco embossed.

Warranty
The Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® based paint finish carries a thirty
(30) year limited warranty against chipping, cracking, peeling, chalking
and fading.
Availability and Cost
Design System panels are available through ATAS product distributors.
A complete line of accessories in matching or coordinating colors is available
to complete a project. Coil stock or flat sheet can be provided for field
fabrication of custom flashings.
Cost:
Contact ATAS product distributors for cost.
Installation
Installation manuals or hands-on training through seminars are available.
Contact ATAS technical service advisors for information.
Maintenance
Design System panels are virtually maintenance free. The high quality
finish will not fade, chalk, crack or peel, and since the substrate is
metal, the panel will not warp, rot or break. Surface residue may be easily
removed by conventional cleaning methods. Minor scratches may be touched
up with a matching paint, available from the manufacturer.
